Honda Malaysia expands its empire; opens a new 3S centre

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia in the quest to provide world-class service to its customers has opened a new 3S centre. This new facility is located in Taman Rasa Sayang, Cheras and will be operated by MJN Motors, one of Honda’s 96 dealerships spread across the country.

The new 3S centre has been built with an investment of RM 6 million. The standards set here are top-notch. The centre is spread over an area of 11,000 sq ft. It can look after as many as 30 cars per day. And to do that it has got seven service, three general repair, and two tire devoted bays. Apart from providing excellent service to the cars, the 3S centre has got amenities like a customer and executive lounge, kids corner,  cafe counter, and a surau, all to make sure that the customers are looked after as well. Other services like road tax and insurance are also available here.

Speaking about the new Honda 3S centre, Toichi Ishiyama, Honda Malaysia MD and CEO said, “As we continue to emphasise customer satisfaction, the role that our dealers play is very important. We are confident that all the efforts can be accomplished with the strong support of dealers such as MJN Motors. The opening of MJN Motors Honda 3S centre will provide greater convenience to our increasing customer base, towards attaining better customer satisfaction.”

Honda already has a vast network of dealerships (96 in total) with 37 located in the central region of the country. And with the new 3S centre, Honda Malaysia is expanding its network even further to reach out to as many customers as possible. The new 3S centre will serve customers in Cheras, Kajang and Seri Kembangan areas.

A few models like City, Jazz, HR-V, BR-V, CR-V, Accord and Civic are assembled locally, and Honda says that all of them are sales leaders in their respective segments. Honda has a firm grip here in the local market. The Japanese automobile giant sold a record 51,354 units in the first half of 2018 and is expecting to reach its this year’s sales target of 109,000 units. The company also recorded the highest number of bookings with 20,000 names collected in June.
