About Mitsubishi Malaysia

Today, Mitsubishi Malaysia maintains 53 dealerships (47 being 4S Centers) and 52 service outlets across Malaysia.
Mitsubishi Corporation formed Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) on the 29th of January 2005. It is the only official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in the country. MMM was formed as a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation that owns 52% of the share and Edaran Otomobil Nation (EON) Berhad with a 48% share with a paid-up capital of RM 60 million.
Today, Mitsubishi Malaysia prides itself as one of the country’s most successful auto manufacturers. Its lineup includes some of the most loved vehicles, such as the Triton, Outlander, and ASX.
In April 2020, Triton was the only model in the pickup segment with positive growth in FY 2019-2020, it gained 0.9% over the same period last year. This was quite impressive, as the segment experienced an overall decline of 21% during the same period. Another significant achievement came in January 2020, wherein pickup managed to attain 22.8% of the market share in the segment, highest in the past ten years. Thus, making Mitsubishi Triton the best-selling pickup truck in the country. The current Triton was introduced in January 2019 and is getting continuous updates in the form of new features and equipment since its launch.
In November 2019, the Triton Quest was made available in the country. It comes with Dynamic Shield face and advanced features. It rides on a powerful 2.5-litre turbo diesel mill and has a best-in-class turning radius of 5.7 metres.
In the J.D. Power 2019 Malaysia Sales Satisfaction Index Study (measures overall customer satisfaction with their new car purchase), Mitsubishi managed to secure the second position. While in the J.D. Power 2019 Malaysia Customer Service Index (measures overall aftersales satisfaction of vehicle owners), Mitsubishi topped with 791 points.
Mitsubishi Malaysia knows what its audience expects, and the brand never fails to deliver. It also has a very interactive social media channel where it can be seen taking part in trending challenges like the #TetrisChallenge. Apart from facelifts and new models, the automaker keeps its customers entertained with unique promos and offers.
