About Mitsubishi Malaysia

Mitsubishi Malaysia is one of the most trusted automotive brands in the country. Its vehicles are known for their stong-built and go-anywhere ability. Working on the lines of ‘Drive your Ambition’, the brand aims to provide unique experiences to its customers and also inspires them to go the distance with their vehicles. Today, Mitsubishi Malaysia maintains 53 dealerships (47 being 4S Centers) and 52 service outlets across Malaysia.

Mitsubishi Corporation formed Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) on the 29th of January 2005. It is the only official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in the country. MMM was formed as a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation that owns 52% of the share and Edaran Otomobil Nation (EON) Berhad with a 48% share with a paid-up capital of RM 60 million.

Today, Mitsubishi Malaysia prides itself as one of the country’s most successful auto manufacturers. Its lineup includes some of the most loved vehicles, such as the Triton, Outlander, and ASX.

In April 2020, Triton was the only model in the pickup segment with positive growth in FY 2019-2020, it gained 0.9% over the same period last year. This was quite impressive, as the segment experienced an overall decline of 21% during the same period. Another significant achievement came in January 2020, wherein pickup managed to attain 22.8% of the market share in the segment, highest in the past ten years. Thus, making Mitsubishi Triton the best-selling pickup truck in the country. The current Triton was introduced in January 2019 and is getting continuous updates in the form of new features and equipment since its launch.

In November 2019, the Triton Quest was made available in the country. It comes with Dynamic Shield face and advanced features.  It rides on a powerful 2.5-litre turbo diesel mill and has a best-in-class turning radius of 5.7 metres.

In the J.D. Power 2019 Malaysia Sales Satisfaction Index Study (measures overall customer satisfaction with their new car purchase), Mitsubishi managed to secure the second position. While in the J.D. Power 2019 Malaysia Customer Service Index (measures overall aftersales satisfaction of vehicle owners), Mitsubishi topped with 791 points.

Mitsubishi Malaysia knows what its audience expects, and the brand never fails to deliver. It also has a very interactive social media channel where it can be seen taking part in trending challenges like the #TetrisChallenge. Apart from facelifts and new models, the automaker keeps its customers entertained with unique promos and offers.

Zakwan Okt 15, 2020 for Mitsubishi Xpander

I got to see the Mitsubishi Xpander in person at my recent visit to the Mid Valley Megamall. And I have just one word to say, STUNNING. That two-layer grille, LED headlamps, the large fog lamps, and those stylish L-shaped taillamps, I loved them all. I asked my father to check it out too, and he loved it as well, Read More 170

Zulhasif Okt 14, 2020 for Mitsubishi ASX

I would recommend the Mitsubishi ASX to everyone looking to buy a car in the Malaysian market. Built on the likes of the Outlander and Eclipse Cross, the ASX is no less of a performer with a 1998 cc engine that makes 148 hp of power. The crossover is a great economy package and can stand out amongst most of Read More 30

After driving the Toyota Vios for years, I am now looking for an SUV that’s powerful and loaded with features. But my main concern was reliability; you see, Toyota never bothered me much, plus the after-sales service is smooth as butter. So, finding an SUV that equally good is difficult, but then I heard about the Xpander. The car looked Read More 132

I have owned this car for quite a few years now. My view about this car is pretty average so far. Perhaps this car cannot meet all your expectations that you may seek in today’s hot selling compact SUV cars. The styling of the car is pretty outdated. The infotainment system is pretty outdated as well. The car is providing Read More 333

If performance is what you stress upon this car won’t of course dishearten you. I agree you may get many other cars in same price range that will prove to be extra powerful than this one. But this car also satisfied me more or less. I prefer to drive this mostly off road. In fact, if you are more of Read More 156
