About Peugeot Malaysia

Armand PEUGEOT showcased their first PEUGEOT-branded automotive vehicle at the World Fair in Paris: a steam-driven 3-wheeler. The vehicle was designed hand-in-hand with renowned engineer Léon Serpollet.

Interestingly, the brand was also successful in following tests on the Grand Bi, Peugeot which was a two-wheeler chain-driven bikes and trikes at its Beaulieu plant. The bikes were designed by Armand Peugeot as well.

The brand began their life as an industrial manufacturer, back in 1810 as a steel foundry producing products such as band saws, umbrella frames, and coffee grinders. Having a rich history of 200 years, the brand has shared an impeccable story of innovation and design.

Among the other automotive companies still in production, Peugeot has been one of the few brands to hold still in their stakes and management. The automaker still produces an array of non-automotive products including saws/chisels, grinders and salt, and pepper mills.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Naza Group of Companies, Nasim Sdn Bhd is the official distributor of the Peugeot brand in Malaysia. The brand secured its partnership, back in the year 2008 January. Currently, the official distributor has been steadily growing the brand to become the best-selling French marque in Malaysia.

The first model under their partnership was the 207, launched in November 2010 that was followed 408, launched in May 2012. Nasim has grown its market presence in obtaining distributorship rights.

Nasim unveiled the Peugeot Lounge at the Subang Skypark Terminal, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, in early 2013. The first-ever airport lounge of its kind in the world, the Peugeot Lounge caters for our esteemed customers as well as the general public. In January 2015, the Peugeot Lounge was entered into the Malaysia Book of Records, in recognition of our milestone as the nation’s First Automotive Airport Lounge.

    Aswab Apr 01, 2021 for Peugeot 308

It’s amazing that how handsome this car is and how hideous its predecessor was. It’s quick, handles well, is well equipped, comfortable and I love the small steering wheel with the whole cockpit in general. The responsiveness of the touch screen is something they could have improved. The 308 has got the look, engine, general interior, and cost about right, Read More 49

    Aafaaq Apr 01, 2021 for Peugeot 5008 (2015-2016)

I just ordered this car in Pearl White GT line premium (with panoramic roof). Had a little confusion between this and Kia Sportage but the Peugeot just offers way too much and is so much more attractive so I went with my gut. It has the best cabin in class with very tidy handling. Though it is a bit underpowered Read More 116

    Reehab Apr 01, 2021 for Peugeot 3008 (2008-2017)

We just got our 3008 GT yesterday and I must say that I wasn’t really sure about the front seat sizes which we found a bit smaller until I came to know they are actually expandable. In my opinion, it is a great alternative to the Proton X70 and Honda CRV. So many sleek details, even the chrome finish is Read More 168

    Ishtiqal Mac 31, 2021 for Peugeot 2008

This bloated version of the 208 look stunning from the front, Peugeot has got a great designer at present. I had one for a month now and really like it, I am 6’2 and I have absolutely no problem fitting in. The only thing that concerns me is the longevity of the 3 cylinder petrol engine. Everything is just tightened Read More 84

    Ranj Mac 31, 2021 for Peugeot 208

I feel the iconic Peugeot 208 gives a brilliant driving experience, second to none in the same range. For a small family car, you can’t go wrong owning a Peugeot 208. You will only face a lag in pickup if it is over-loaded. Also there is a spare part issue most of the times. My mom used to own it Read More 66
