• About Jeep Malaysia

  A division of Chrysler Group, LLC, and also a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Italian-American corporation, Jeep has enjoyed a brief period of time as the iconic American automobile. II. It is known for its contribution to the US Army as a brand. Willys MA, the initial name of the manufacturers of the car had the assembly line of these durable vehicles, specifically for use by the military.

  It was post-WWII when the normal consumers initiated a demand for the sturdy four-wheel-drive vehicles, making Jeep an actual brand. With the passage of time, Jeep started gaining its spotlight around the world, owing to the durable design of the vehicles.

  Thanks to the innovation and improvement in the performance of its vehicles, Jeep has expanded its product range and now consists solely of sport utility vehicles which are both crossovers and fully off-road worthy SUVs, including one pickup truck.

  The "Jeep" brand has gone through many owners, starting with Willys-Overland. However, the civilian production models of 1945 were marketed as the "Universal Jeep". Following a lot of changes in its logo design and ownership, the brand finally settled for ‘Jeep’ by a division of FCA US LLC.

  Coming to its sales over Malaysia, DRB-Hicom Bhd is the exclusive distributor of the brand in the country. Following the importation agreement inked between EON and Chrylser, the former was also appointed a non-exclusive distributor of genuine parts and accessories for Chrysler vehicles.
