2020 Ducati Streetfighter V4 revealed at DWP2020

KUALA LUMPUR: The popular Italian brand, Ducati, has unveiled 2020 Streetfighter V4 in DWP2020 (2020 Ducati World Premiere), while the public release will be in March 2020. It will be available in two different variants - Standard and ‘S’.

The suspension is the main feature that differentiates the two variants, while the Standard trim gets a fully-adjustable suspension, the S model features electronic suspension.

2020 Ducati Streetfighter V4 is equipped with a 1,103 cc, liquid-cooled Stradale V-four engine, which is capable of churning out a maximum power of 208 hp along with a peak torque of 123 Nm. The maximum power and peak torque come at a rev-range of 12,500 rpm and 11,500 rpm, respectively.

Design-wise, Ducati new naked superbike comes with a combination of projector light and LED daytime running lights at the lower section of the front. To provide much-needed comfort during long rides, the carmaker has added 60 mm foam padding to the front seat.

As for the braking, there are 330 mm semi-floating discs at the front with Stylema M4.30 Monobloc callipers, while a 245 mm diameter disc having two-piston calliper are present at the rear. The later gets ABS Cornering EVO to make the braking more efficient. The Streetfighter V4 S carries Ohlins NIX30 and Smart EC 2.0 electronic suspension at the front, and electronically controlled Ohlins TTX36 mono-shock unit is present at the back.

In terms of additional features, there are Ducati Data Analyser+ having a GPS module that helps in racetrack work. Other notable features are Ducati Linkapp, heated grips and an anti-theft system.

In Italy, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Standard will come with a price tag of 19,990 euros (RM 93,094), while the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S will cost 22,990 euros (RM 107,019).
