2026 KTM 990 RC R and 1390 Super Adventure series launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The official importer and distributor of KTM bikes in Malaysia, Eurotech Group (ETG), has launched four highly anticipated, new-gen motorcycles in the local market. The list includes - KTM 990 RC R and three Adventure Series models - KTM 1390 Super Adventure S, KTM 1390 Super Adventure R and KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo. The prices are as follows -

Let’s discuss each model, one by one. 

KTM 990 RC R

The KTM 990 RC R is a fully street-homologated, road-legal supersport that brings the thrill of the track to the streets. It features MotoGP-inspired aerodynamics and delivers an exhilarating performance. At its core is a 947 cc LC8c parallel-twin engine tuned to produce 127.84 PS of maximum power and 103 Nm of peak torque. 

With a 6D IMU Electronics system, the bike features an 8.8-inch landscape TFT display, customisable Ride Modes (Street, Rain, Sport & Custom), WP APEX Fully Adjustable Suspension, Brembo HyPure 4-Piston callipers and Cornering ABS with 4 ABS Modes. 

KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE S 

Developed and built in Austria, the KTM 1390 Super Adventure S is engineered for high-speed touring, with the ability to handle gravel roads. It features muscular styling and an improved windshield with an additional 15 mm of adjustability, offering enhanced wind protection and touring comfort. 

Power comes from a 1,350-cc V-twin engine delivering 173 PS of maximum power and 145 Nm of torque. Key features include WP Semi-Active Technology suspension, an all-new LED headlight with cornering lights, a portrait-oriented 8.8-inch TFT touchscreen with offline map navigation and glove-friendly controls.

KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R

The KTM 1390 Super Adventure R offers class-leading performance on the most demanding off-road terrains. The bike is powered by a 1,350 cc V-twin engine delivering 175 PS and 145 Nm of torque. It features WP XPLOR  suspension and 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tubeless wire-spoked Wheels wrapped with aggressive adventure-knobby tyres.

Other key highlights include - a new 8-inch portrait touchscreen TFT display, an off-road-focused windscreen, and a single-unit seat. 

KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE S EVO  

The KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo offers an exciting adventure touring experience with advanced technology and a 1,350 cc V-twin engine delivering 173 PS and 145 Nm of torque. It is the first KTM model to get the revolutionary Automated Manual Transmission, which delivers a clutchless riding experience and automatically manages clutch operation during starting,  stopping and gear changes. 

Other key features include - WP Semi-Active Suspension Technology, Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, new WP Semi-Active Technology, improved windshield with +15 mm adjustability, a new 8-inch Portrait Touchscreen TFT display, and 5th-Generation Front Radar Sensor by Bosch.
