MODA Shifter 400X scooter launched in Malaysia at RM 23,888

KUALA LUMPUR: The new Malaysian motorcycle brand MODA (Mdua Motor Sdn. Bhd.), a subsidiary of AFY Mobility Industries, has expanded its lineup with the launch of a new model, the Shifter 400X. Designed for urban landscapes and rugged terrains, the adventure scooter features commanding presence, trail-ready styling, and practical touring features.

MODA Shifter 400X Price

The MODA Shifter 400X price tag read RM 23,888 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration). Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

MODA Shifter 400X Engine and transmission

MODA’s new adventure scooter is powered by a 333-cc Euro 4-compliant, single-cylinder liquid-cooled SOHC engine that generates a maximum power of 26.8 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 33.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox.

MODA Shifter 400X suspension & braking 

Managing the suspension duties are hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and double gas shock absorbers at the rear. As for braking, it comes equipped with a single 276 mm front and a single 240 mm rear disc. Taking convenience and safety to the next level is an anti-lock braking system and a traction control system.
