KUALA LUMPUR: The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Moto Morini is set to make a mark in the Malaysian market with the launch of its latest touring lineup, comprising three models: ALLTRHIKE 450, X-CAPE 700, and X-CAPE 1200. The grand launch ceremony was held at the White Swan Hotel in China.

Moto Morini ALLTRHIKE 450
- The Moto Morini ALLTRHIKE 450 is a lightweight adventure model, built for riders who embrace the thrill of adventure and long-distance touring.
- Based on a steel tube trellis frame, it features a modern yet aggressive design with a sporty designed muffler, a sturdy centre stand, aluminium cases, and a comfortable ergonomic seat.
- At its core lies a 449.5-cc, twin-cylinder DOHC engine that generates a maximum power of 44.2 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 44 Nm at 6,250 rpm.
- The suspension setup comprises fully-adjustable 41 mm Kayaba USD forks and an adjustable Kayaba monoshock. Handling the braking duties is a single 320 mm front disc clamped by a J.Juan 4-piston calliper and a 255 mm rear disc with a 2-piston calliper.

- The Moto Morini X-Cape 700 is a middle-weight adventure motorcycle, perfect for the ones who crave freedom and courage on every journey.
- It combines a rugged design with impressive dual-terrain capability, featuring a sporty-designed muffler, built-in handguards, a hand-adjustable windshield and an ergonomic riding seat.
- The X-Cape 700 is powered by a 693-cc, DOHC, 8-valve, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which kicks out a maximum power of 73.7 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 68 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
- The suspension is managed by Marzocchi USD front forks and Kayaba rear monoshock, which are adjustable for spring preload and rebound damping. The braking setup comprises 298 mm double front discs with 2-piston Brembo callipers and a 255 mm disc clamped by a 2-piston calliper.
- Key features include - 7-inch colourful TFT dashboard, LED headlight, DRL, LED tail light, dual-channel ABS, and 19-inch front and 17-inch wheels.
- Priced at RM 33,888, the Moto Morini X-Cape 700 comes with three Moto Morini-branded aluminium storage cases. Two available colour choices are Red and Black.
Moto Morini X-CAPE 1200
- The Moto Morini X-CAPE 1200 is a large-displacement adventure-touring motorcycle that promises a confident and exhilarating experience.
- It boasts an aggressive and ergonomic design with a sporty designed muffler, a body guard, and a comfortable seat.
- Powering the X-CAPE 1200 is a 1187-cc, 87° V2, DOCHC, 8-valve engine which is tuned to deliver 129 hp of maximum power at 8,750 rpm and 106 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed transmission mated to a bidirectional quickshifter.
- Key features include - LED headlight + DRL, 7-inch TFT dashboard, LED tail light, radar-assisted cruise control, front-facing dashcam, cornering ABS, cornering lights, and cornering traction control.
- Handling the suspension duties are Marzocchi USD front forks and a fully-adjustable and progressive monoshock. As for braking, it features twin 320 mm front discs with Brembo 4.32 Monobloc callipers, and a 280 mm rear Brembo disc.
- Priced at RM 49,888, the Moto Morini X-CAPE 1200 is available in two colours - Red and Black.
All three adventure touring bikes will be available nationwide through Mforce’s authorised dealers.
