Yadea GT20 EV launched in Malaysia - RM 4,998, 105 km range

KUALA LUMPUR: MForce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. has expanded the Yadea lineup in Malaysia with the launch of a new electric bike, the GT20. It is an affordable battery-operated two-wheeler that offers an amazing blend of practical features, making it a smart choice for daily riders in Malaysia.

Price 

The Yadea GT20 retails for RM 4,998 (excluding insurance and road tax) in Malaysia. The price includes a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturer warranty, whichever comes first.

Dimensions 

The bike measures 1,857 mm in length, 690 mm in width, and 1,120 mm in height. It has a seat height of 768 mm with a ground clearance measuring at 140-150 mm. The footboard space is 700 mm and 350 mm wide.

Range and charging

At the core of Yadea GT20 lies a hub-mounted electric motor, generating a maximum power of 4.3 hp and a peak torque of 160 Nm. It is fed by a 72V38Ah graphene battery, which offers a driving range of 105 km on a single charge. The charging time is 6–8 hours (using built-in 72V6A charger) with a battery lifespan rated for 500 charging cycles.

• High-intensity LED lights with a brightness of 22,000 candela (CD), offering excellent visibility in low-light conditions
• 28-litre under-seat storage area that can accommodate a helmet or daily essentials
• A hidden front cargo hook for extra utility 
• Digital instrument display, providing all driving-related information to the rider
• USB Type-A charging port for charging smartphones and other small electronic devices on the go

• Two riding modes
• Automatic power cut-off feature that activates when the side stand is engaged
• Front and rear disc brakes with CBS (Combined Braking System)
• Regenerative braking system that recovers energy during braking or downhill movement
• ‘Secure Ride’ package adding an ergonomic seat saddle, grab handles, and a pillion backrest to the package
