The Suzuki SV 650 is a phenomenal and dashing motorcycle that flaunts an enigmatic design and efficient performance features. This beautiful bike is equipped with all the latest technological features that elevate the riding experience and make this beast one of the most desirable rides in the Malaysian market. Not only does this magnificent creation function well on the streets, but it also rules the race tracks because of its mighty engine. This beautiful bike is loaded with a variety of features that deliver in any given situation. The lightweight and ultra-slim profile of this motorcycle creates a decent image of this vehicle in the eyes of the riders.

The supreme and alluring design of the SV 650 never fails to amaze the passionate riders. It adorns an enormous variety of features. The round multi-reflector headlight has been designed to distribute the maximum amount of light to ensure safe driving under low-light conditions. The fuel tank is very large and has a capacity of about 14.5 litres. Despite the large capacity of the fuel tank, it is very slim. The V-twin engine optimizes the available resources to maximize performance. It also obtains a pretty impressive torque at even low RPMs. This makes the ride easier to handle.  All these features combine to make a bewitching ride.

Suzuki SV 650 Design

The Suzuki SV 650 features a slim body and ergonomically shaped side covers and optimised seat design, that allows the rider to straddle the motorcycle with their feet on the ground comfortably. The cornering has also been designed constructively. The truss is constructed of lightweight steel material that enables an overall slimmed-down appearance highlighting the robust V-twin engine. It also features a round multi-reflector headlight that enables driving at the night. The narrow, streamlined seat measures about 785 mm and has been designed nearly flat from the front end to the back end. This gives the riders immense comfort and grip in the upright position. A luggage loop is also available for securing any kind of cargo. This bike has created a decent image with its sharp design.

SV 650 Ride & Handling

The ride quality of the Suzuki SV 650 is quite convincing. It never ceases to amaze its owners. The Suzuki easy smart system engages the starter motor at a precisely timed pre-set interval to enable a hassle-free start. A computerized ECM  monitors the status and disengages the starter motor after the start. The advanced compact system keeps a check on the emission standards and delivers exemplary power. The handling quality of this bike is pretty impressive. One can easily control this bike even at high speeds. The front suspension system comprises a durable 41 mm telescopic front fork and the rear one features a link-type suspension. This incredible suspension system ensures a reliable ride experience and intriguing handling quality.

Suzuki SV 650 Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Suzuki SV 650 is powered by a 645cc V-twin engine that generates an enormous amount of power. The calibrated irregular firing intervals create a pleasant sound. The engine has great potential and makes this ride an ideal choice for driving under city conditions. This bike is the epitome of constructive engineering and intriguing versatility. In the lower RPMs, the engine generates powerful torque and when the throttle is switched to the mid-range, the power of the engine responds fiercely. However, the control is never compromised.

The V-twin engine meets with the EURO5 emissions regulation while achieving class-leading fuel economy. The aluminium die-cast cylinder adopts the original Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM) design that provides an ample amount of heat dissipation and wear-resistant property. The rigid exterior coat makes it feasible to effectively dissipate heat while mitigating friction. This also helps the cylinder gain a consistent wear-resistant seal on the piston rings. The engine makes use of the dual throttle valve fuel injection system that is supplemented with a built-in Idle Speed Control that ensures idling stability and performance. It also flaunts the low RPM assist control function. There are a variety of features of the engine that make it unbeatable.

The braking system of the Suzuki SV 650 comprises 290 mm front disc brakes that are ABS enabled and a 240 mm rear disc that provides decent stopping power. There are a number of safety features available that include the ABS enabled brakes, the throttle control, the fully digital instrument panel that displays essential information, and much more.

I would recommend this ride to all the zealous riders.

Nazmi Sep 07, 2021 for Suzuki SV 650

Anyhow, this is not your typical entry-level motorcycle, no matter what anyone says. Compared to other 500cc, 400cc, or even 300cc bikes like the Yamaha R3, it provides a more enjoyable riding experience for a new rider than any of those. In fact, the SV 650 might be a bit much for a beginner. This bike's twin-cylinder 645cc motor is Read More

I was planning to upgrade my bike but was unable to find a quality one under my budget. Nevertheless, while looking around, my eyes landed on the Suzuki SV 650. Hauled with a 645cc twin-spark engine along with a revised cooling system and exhaust, this bike generates enough power, for me, to have a smooth and quality ride. But what Read More

Whatever people say, the Suzuki SV 650 is not a typical beginner’s motorcycle. It offers a bigger riding experience compared to any 500cc, 400cc or even 300cc bikes like the Yamaha R3 for a new rider. In fact the SV 650 could be a bit too much for a novice. The twin-cylinder 645cc motor of this bike is both reliable Read More

After getting my Suzuki SV 650, my journey with my first 500+ cc bike has just started. And guess what? Just in the second week from the purchase, the bike started making a clicking noise. Upon a checkup at the dealership, I was told to relax and don’t worry about it as little clicking noises are normal from the SVs. Read More
