A classy urban commuter
There are a lot of options in the market these days, as far as the scooters are concerned. Most of them focus on the youth with sporty design with loud decals, but the Yamaha Nmax is more of subtleness and class. It is a perfect commute for an office going guy, like me, and will even appeal to young college students. I have tried it at full-throttle on the highway, and boy it packs some real punch. The smooth, seamless acceleration makes this scooter a great ride. However, the suspension is a bit stiffer and Yamaha could have done better in that department. It does well on the highway, though the best performance of Nmax can be recorded across city roads, during the daily commute. It is very lightweight, so it takes minimum effort to squeeze it into a tight parking slot. A dependable braking system along with ABS provides excellent control and retardation. Very satisfied with the Nmax and Yamaha is definitely a trustworthy brand.
