US Open Tennis 2015 – Top seeds and their cars

As the US open 2015 is closing in, the excitement is rising among the sports enthusiasts. US open has released the list of its top seeds among men and women. So to add more flavour to this fierce competition and make it alluring to the auto enthusiasts, we decided to size up the cars owned by the top seeds. Let's see if their tennis skills tantamount to the choice of their cars.

U.S Open Top Seeds – Men

1. Novak Djokovic – Audi R8

Novak Djokovic, who is currently seeking the first position among top seeds on his second U.S. Open title, owns a huge stack of cars, many of which he has won in tennis tournaments. Well, his current ride is ambiguous to us but his preference is always a German machine. He challenged an Audi R8 to test, Which is faster? This Serbians serve or the Germans proud? And yes he proved it yet again.

2. Roger Federer – Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

Arguably the biggest name is tennis, who has ever lived, Roger drives one of the best cars ever made the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. This F1 inspired beast can gain a century mark on the speedometer in just 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 336 Km/h owing to its 5.4-litre supercharged V8.

3. Andy Murray – Ferrari 430 Spider

Andy Murray, the brutal brit is clearly a man who knows what he wants from his racquet and from his car. Murray has owned a wide fleet of cars, including an Aston Martin, a Jaguar XKR has and a Porsche Cayenne. Sources suggest that this British player behind the racquet currently owns a Ferrari F430, an Italian masterpiece with a V8 pumping beneath the bonnet.

Well, it is true in the case of world No. 5 ranked tennis player Kei Nishikori who is also a brand ambassador of the company. Jaguar gifted the tennis player an F-Type Kei Nishikori Edition, which was specially created in the name of this player and merely 35 Fire Sand-painted coupés and convertibles will be produced.

5. Stan Wawrinka – Audi RS 4

Romanian tennis player Simona Halep is lucky to be gifted with a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe finished in red. WTA’s one of the most improved player rides home in this German legacy.

3. Maria Sharapova – 911 Carrera S Cabriolet

The tennis diva charms everyone with her skills and looks on the field as well as on the streets. The Russian tennis star owns a gracious cabrio Porsche Carrera 911 S. Maria is also sponsored by the most iconic sports car company, Porsche.
