The battery case will be directly connected to the steering head and swingarm. And, its motor will be positioned behind the pack, near to the swingarm pivot, while on the front, there will be an electronic control unit.

With this new architecture, LiveWire will create different headstock designs while using new ‘21700’ format cells made in 50V, 100V, 350V, and 400+V forms. It will equip the products with liquid or air cooling according to the incorporated motor and battery capacity.

The upcoming LiveWire S2 is likely to be a production version of the electric flat-tracker concept once shown by Harley-Davidson as suggested by the chassis and the alloy wheel design of the EV. While the concept was dubbed as EDT600R, the road-ready model could be called S2 Del Mar, after the Californian town.

As for the S3, LiveWire revealed that it would be a low-priced model as compared to the S2, however, the two EVs will share the same principles. For this, the American automaker has joined hands with Kymco, which suggests that the latter will bring onboard its IONEX swappable battery system.

LiveWire has categorised the upcoming S4 as a ‘heavyweight’ motorcycle that will feature improved range and charging capacity and will be fitted with the latest technology systems.
