Lambretta Malaysia launches the Casa X300 Limited Edition; sets new ASEAN and Asia record

KUALA LUMPUR: Lambretta Malaysia recently introduced the Casa X300 Limited Edition at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit, marking a major milestone for the iconic Italian scooter brand in Malaysia. 

A total of 68 enthusiastic owners took delivery of their brand-new Casa Lambretta X300 Limited Edition in a racing-inspired showcase.

Developed with the Casa Lambretta Racing Team, the X300 Limited Edition embodies the authentic “Racing Spirit of Lambretta” and celebrates the brand’s 1947 heritage. Limited to 999 units worldwide (exclusive numbered plate 001–999), this exclusive model features exclusive design elements.

The  Casa X300 Limited Edition comes powered by the proven 275-cc Lambretta Super Performance (LSP) liquid-cooled engine, delivering a maximum power of 25.1 hp at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 24.5 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The engine comes mated to a CVT gearbox.

Handling the suspension duties is a double-arm link setup at the front and dual springs at the rear. The braking setup comprises disc brakes at both ends, complemented by dual-channel ABS. 

The global Lambretta brand is owned and overseen by Walter Scheffrahn through Innocenti SA. The Malaysian launch of the scooter is led by Bike Continent Sdn Bhd as the official distributor, under the leadership of Managing Director Ronnie Chen. The importation is handled by Mofaz Motosikal Sdn Bhd (represented by Dato’ Nik Izani Nik Ibrahim).

Lambretta Malaysia sets a new ASEAN and Asia record

In conjunction with the launch of the new scooter, Lambretta Malaysia officially achieved a new ASEAN and Asia record, with 818  registered participants taking part in the largest brand-organised scooter members’ fun ride ever conducted at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit. This prestigious track is Southeast Asia’s largest Formula 1 1-grade track.

The mega gathering event brought together hundreds of Lambrettisti and cemented Bike Continent Sdn Bhd’s position as the best Lambretta distributor in  2025.
