Lambretta X300 GT and G350 Series II launched in Malaysia; two upcoming models teased

KUALA LUMPUR: Italian scooter brand Lambretta is poised to make a strong entry into the Malaysian two-wheeler market with the launch of its latest models — the X300 GT and G350 Series II. Both models were unveiled at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, and accompanying them were two upcoming models - the Lambretta Elettra, the brand’s first electric scooter, and the J200 ‘Starwave’. All of them together are set to redefine Malaysia’s urban mobility landscape with their unparalleled design, style, and performance.

Lambretta X300 GT

The GT here refers to Grand Touring, and so, like its name, this one has a lot to offer. It gets a cool design and a whole lot of accessories, which makes it perfect for an everyday commute. Benign, a true Italian creation, is a mix of a timeless, classic scooter in looks with all modern-day functionality. Here are a few key highlights -

Design—The new seat features Lambretta's classic lines and a rear carrier that’s perfect for everyday use. It also gets a new premium steel side cover with the X300 GT Checker Board logo pattern.

Lighting - The scooter gets a uniquely designed full LED lighting system with LED headlights and tail lights. The hexagonal headlights come with Lambretta's signature logo, and the taillight gets a 7-bar crystal design with IFS (Integrated-Function Signals) system.

Features - It gets a TFT function connector with a range of customisable features, a Double Arm-Link (preload 7 levels) with disc brake (ABS), a newly upgraded Double Arm-Link front suspension, and a Dual-channel ABS brake system.

Powertrain - The scooter is powered by a 275cc LSP engine with cutting-edge injection technology.

Lambretta G250 Series II

Next up is the fully refreshed Lambretta G250 Series II, both in terms of looks and performance. However, it continues to be a symbol of timeless style and innovative engineering. Here are its few key features -

Design - The first thing one will notice is the all-new side panel embellisher badge, which not only captures the timeless design but hints at modern functionality.

Lighting - The lighting units are artfully crafted. The setup includes a full LED setup, with Lambretta’s signature hexagonal design headlight and rear light with the brand logo.

Features—This classic scooter has several modern-day convenience features, such as a USB charger, TFT digital display, and double armlink with ABS braking system.

Ones in the pipeline: Lambretta Elettra and J200 ‘Starwave’

During the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, Lambretta gave onlookers a first look at its two upcoming models. Elettra and J200 ‘Starwave’. Both these scooters are scheduled for a launch next year in the country.

The Elettra is a unique mix of design, passion, and technology. It is here to lead us into the future of mobility with its sharp outer lines, stunning rear profile, and futuristic instrumentation integrated in the handlebars.

The J200 ‘Starwave’ model, like its siblings, pays tribute to the brand’s rich design heritage but is designed for today’s rider.
