Zongshen RC 401 R unveiled in China; check details

KUALA LUMPUR: For those who aren’t aware, Zongshen is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer that has revealed a brand-new motorcycle called the RC 401 R.

The new Zongshen motorcycle looks striking and is based on the standard RC 401 (launched back in 2022) and is a range-topping version of the former.

New Zongshen RC 401 R: Key details

• Compared to the standard RC 401, the RC 401 R looks a lot sportier thanks to the higher rear tail and lower clip on
• The new model comes with efficient mechanical additions like a single-sided swingarm, J.Juan dual front disc brakes, adjustable suspension from KYB, and Anti-lock Braking System
• The new model is powered by the tried and tested parallel-twin, liquid-cooled SOHC engine making a maximum power of 45 hp at 9,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 35.25 Nm at 8,000 rpm

Price? In China, the all-new Zongshen RC 401 R retails for CNY31,980 (RM20.6k), thus making it an affordable choice in the 400cc segment.
