Malaysia gets a new 125-cc lifestyle scooter, the MODA Aero-E

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s crowded scooter market has just welcomed a new budget-friendly player in the form of the MODA Aero-E. Designed for today’s vibrant city riders, the MODA Aero-E is a 125-cc lifestyle scooter that brings refreshing design and everyday usability to the table.

Price

The MODA Aero-E is affordably priced at RM 5,189 (excluding insurance, road tax & registration) in Malaysia. Two available colour options are Carmine Red and Cobalt Blue.

Design and features

The Aero-E is a lightweight scooter featuring a clean, sharp silhouette and bold colour identity. Adding to its premium and modern appearance are dual LED projector lights, offering sharper and brighter visibility, especially at night.

Engine and transmission

At the core of the new MODA scooter lies a 118-cc single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 9.1 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 9.5 Nm. Sending power to the rear wheel is a CVT gearbox mated to a belt drive system.

Suspension & braking 

The scooter ensures a balanced ride and handling with a telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Managing the braking duties are a hydraulic front disc brake and a mechanical drum rear brake. 

The all-new Aero-E is now available at all authorised Moda dealerships across the country.
