Being a motocross racer, I purchased the KTM 350 EXC-F with lots of expectations. But it has left me wanting more. It lacks the aggressive power and thrilling acceleration I require for competitive riding. The lean fuel system and restrictive exhaust restrict it from reaching its potential. While it’s one of the most competent off-road bikes, it fails to measure up to its competitors' raw performance. I think I would have to look elsewhere for a competent machine for racing. On moderate trails, this bike performs well but it is not a proper race bike.
