It’s macho, it’s stylish and it’s very powerful
I was always enticed by sharp, aggressive looks of the NVX, and that’s what pushed me to buy it. I have a black colour one, and it looks absolutely smashing. The fat tyres, black alloy wheels, sharp features all around and a curvy seat hails the design of the scooter. The 155cc engine is full of power and the ride is as good as you would expect from a Yamaha. A small twist over the throttle and the scooter zips off. The Blue Core technology used by Yamaha has undoubtedly improved the engine’s performance. It returns a fuel economy of around 43-45kmpl as per my observations. Things that I carry every day, like a small bag, a full face helmet and my power bank, can easily fit in the under-seat compartment, with still some space for other small stuff. The 12-volt socket allows me to recharge my power bank and mobile when required. Absence of a rear disc brake is the only drawback, rest everything is fantastic.
