All-new Aveta Nova 250 and Marvel 150 launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Aveta Malaysia has recently introduced two latest models - Nova 250 and Marvel 150, reflecting its bold step towards disrupting the Malaysian two-wheeler market. These two models are stylish, practical and safe and offer a strong performance, ideal for both city traffic and longer commutes.

Let’s know the new Aveta models in detail. 

Aveta Nova 250

The Aveta Nova 250 scooter is a new entrant in the premium urban mobility category in the local market that features a sophisticated design and cutting-edge technology. The pricing and specifications are as follows - 

• Price: The Nova 250 price tag reads RM 14,388, excluding road tax, insurance and registration. 
• Engine and transmission: At the core of the scooter lies a 244-cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder SOHC engine that generates a maximum power of 25.5 hp at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 23 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT transmission and a belt drive.

• Features: Feature kit includes -  LED lighting, 7-inch TFT display with screen mirroring, smart key system, tyre pressure monitoring, USB-C charging socket, traction control system, and 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels wrapped with 120/70 front and 130/70 rear tyres. 

• Suspension & braking: The suspension duties are managed by conventional telescopic front forks and twin preload-adjustable rear shock absorbers. Braking is done by disc brakes complemented by a dual-channel anti-lock braking system.
• Colours: Two available colour options are - Emerald Green and Metro Grey.

Aveta Marvel 150 

Described as a “fun bike,” the Aveta Marvel 150 is a lightweight motorcycle built for zipping through the city traffic and having fun on twisty bits. The pricing and specifications are as follows -

• Price: The 2025 Aveta Marvel 150 price tag reads RM 7,988 (on the road, without insurance). 
• Engine and transmission: It is powered by a 149-cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine tuned to deliver 10.6 hp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 11.5 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. Sending power to the rear wheel is a five-speed gearbox and chain final drive.

• Features: Equipment kit includes - LED lighting, Digital LCD speedometer, USB charging port, premium cushioned seat, hand clutch control, 140 mm ground clearance, and 12-inch wheels shod with 120/70 tyres front and rear tyres.  
• Suspension & braking: The suspension set-up comprises non-adjustable USD front forks and twin preload-adjustable rear shock absorbers. Helping the bike stop are single hydraulic discs at both ends.
• Colours: Two colour options are - Mocha Blaze and Sonic Blue.

The Aveta Nova 250 and Marvel 150 are now available at all Aveta authorised dealerships across Malaysia, backed by a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.
