Aveta Vanguard 180 and Vanguard 250 Limited Edition launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Aveta Malaysia has launched two new models - Vanguard 180 and Vanguard 250 Limited Edition, catering to the different needs of Malaysian riders. The Vanguard 180 offers a practical and comfortable adventure-touring riding style, while the Vanguard 250 Limited Edition adds a more exclusive touch for those who seek something special.

Aveta Vanguard 180: Key highlights 

Aveta offers the Vanguard 180 in two versions - Standard and Explorer Pack, priced at RM 9,398 and RM 9,698, respectively. Two colour choices are available for the standard version: Neon Terrain and Grey Sandstone. The Vanguard 180 Explorer Pack, equipped with a top box and crash bars, comes only in the Frost White option.

This adventure tourer is powered by a 174-cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-valve, single-cylinder engine, which is capable of generating a maximum power of 18.2 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 17.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via an automatic CVT gearbox mated to a belt drive system.

Aveta Vanguard 250 Limited Edition: Key highlights

The Aveta Vanguard 250 Limited Edition is a special edition that combines the adventure touring character with a more sporty and exclusive touch. Available in Eclipse Blue shade, this limited edition model features the following exclusive bits - 

• Unique black decals
• Special TFT display graphics
• Redesigned ergonomic handlebar
• Premium metallic finishing and refined trim panel
• Premium metal foot pegs 

Aveta offers only 688 units of the Vanguard 250 Limited Edition, with each unit featuring a unique serial-numbered emblem. The price tag reads RM 17,188.

At the core lies the same 244.2-cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the standard model, producing 24.8 hp at 8,500 rpm and 22.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a CVT gearbox and belt drive.
