Honda Vario 160 gets a splash of new colours in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: After upgrading the Vario 125 earlier this year, Boon Siew Honda, the official distributor of Honda motorcycles in Malaysia, has now updated the colour palette of the Vario 160.

Known for its sporty character, advanced tech, and Honda reliability, the 2026 Vario 160 gets three new colour options -  Gray Gold, Matte Black, and Silver Blue, offering Malaysian buyers greater choice and a fresh new look.

“The new colours for Vario160 are for the one who has been waiting for the right shade before making their choice," said Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd.

2026 Honda Vario 160: Price and specifications

With the colour upgrade also comes a slight price change. The latest model costs RM 10,498 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration), RM 300 more than the previous version.

The design and specifications of the scooter remain unchanged. It features a sporty appearance with a sharp front look and edgy panels. At the core lies a 157cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder eSP+ engine that delivers a maximum power of 15.3 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox and belt drive.

The new Honda Vario 160 is now available at all authorised Honda Impian X dealerships nationwide. It comes backed by a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturer’s warranty, whichever comes first, offering peace of mind throughout their ownership journey.
