Two new Aveta scooters launched in Malaysia - Viper 180 and Bellagio 125

KUALA LUMPUR: The national bikemaker, Aveta, has introduced two new exciting models in the local automotive arena - Viper 180 and Bellagio 125, reflecting its strategy to offer different riding experiences. With stylish designs and modern equipment, these new Aveta scooters promise a comfortable, practical and confident experience on the road. 

Let’s know the new Aveta models in detail. 

Aveta Bellagio 125

The Aveta Bellagio 125 brings a new definition to stylish urban mobility with its retro-inspired aesthetic combined with modern practicality and efficient performance suited for city riding. The pricing and specifications are as follows - 

• Price: The Aveta Bellagio 125 is priced at RM 6,998, excluding road. tax, insurance or registration.
• Engine & transmission: It is powered by a 124-cc single-cylinder SOHC air-cooled engine tuned to deliver a maximum power of 8.7 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 9.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT automatic transmission and a belt final drive system.
• Design and features: The scooter boasts a timeless retro-inspired design combining classic aesthetics and modern detailing. It features a classic windshield, a pillion grab rail, a coloured LCD digital speedometer, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, under-seat storage space, and 12-inch wheels wrapped with 90/90 tyres.

• Dimensions: The Bellagio 125 measures 1,860 mm in length, 650 mm in width and 1,150 mm in height and spans a wheelbase of 1,300 mm. Weighing just 100 kg, the scooter carries a 6-litre fuel tank. The seat height and ground clearance are measured at 775 mm and 110 mm, respectively.
• Suspension & braking: The suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front and a single rear shock absorber. Helping the vehicle stop is a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
• Colour options: Three available colour options are - Diamond White, Pistachio Green and Carbon Black.

Aveta Viper 180

The Aveta Viper 180 is a sporty and technology-focused scooter that combines dynamic performance with modern technology, catering to the needs of daily commuters and long-distance riders. The pricing and specifications are as follows - 

• Price: The Aveta Viper 180 price tag reads RM 8,998, excluding insurance, road tax and registration.
• Engine & transmission: At its core lies a 174-cc liquid-cooled SOHC single-cylinder engine, capable of generating a maximum power of 18 hp at 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 17.2 Nm at 8,500 rpm. Sending power to the rear wheel is a CVT automatic transmission and a belt final drive system.
• Design and features: The scooter boasts an aggressive design with sharp body lines, a distinctive Viper-inspired headlight, and a bold stance, exuding a dynamic, performance-inspired road presence. It comes equipped with several modern features, including full LED lighting, a built-in front camera with real-time recording, an adjustable handlebar, dual USB charging ports (Type-A & Type-C), a smart keyless system, and a 7-inch coloured TFT LCD touchscreen with video playback. The vehicle runs on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels, shod with 110/70 front and 130/70 rear tyres.

• Dimensions: The Aveta Viper 180 measures 1,985 mm in length, 770 mm in width and 1,180 mm in height and spans a wheelbase of 1,370 mm. Weighing 127 kg, the scooter carries a 10.5-litre fuel tank. The seat height and ground clearance are measured at 770 mm and 140 mm, respectively.
• Suspension & braking: The suspension is managed by conventional telescopic forks at the front and pre-load adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. As for braking, it comes fitted with single hydraulic discs at both ends, complemented by a two-channel ABS and a traction control system. 
• Colour options: Three available colour options are - Arctic White, Midnight Black, and Storm Grey.

The Aveta Viper 180 and Bellagio 125 are now available at authorised Aveta dealerships nationwide with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.
