Aveta Nova 250 G Elite Edition launched in Malaysia at RM 14,888

KUALA LUMPUR: At the official opening ceremony of the G Elite Motor – Aveta Elite Centre in Shah Alam, Selangor, Aveta introduced a special limited-edition version of the Nova 250 scooter. 

Dubbed as the Aveta Nova 250 G Elite Edition, the scooter costs RM 14,888 (excluding road tax and insurance), with production limited to just 128 units. The G Elite Edition sets itself apart from the standard model with the following bits - 

• Exclusive colour scheme and distinctive graphics
• Orange-coloured wheels
• A unique serial number

In terms of drivetrain and equipment, the Nova G Elite remains identical to the standard model. It runs on a 244.3-cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, liquid-cooled engine producing a maximum power of 25.5 hp at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 23 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via an automatic CVT gearbox and belt drive.

The feature kit includes LED lighting, a 7-inch TFT-LCD instrument cluster, a USB-C charging port, a built-in front video recorder, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a keyless ignition system, 14-inch front and a 13-inch rear wheel. 

The suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. As for braking, it gets hydraulic disc brakes at both ends, complemented by a two-channel ABS and a traction control system.

The scooter is offered exclusively through the new G Elite Motor, which houses a showroom, service centre and spare parts facilities under one roof.
