All-New Suzuki Satria F150 breaks cover at the GIIAS 2018

KUALA LUMPUR: Suzuki has officially unveiled the all-new Satria F150 at the GIIAS 2018. It gets practical styling, a lightweight chassis, and lean looks. From carrying the design cues of a moped to an unrealistic and unorthodox front, the company has bestowed it with all the uniqueness in the world.

Aesthetically, it is extremely sleek and skinny. The front is unusual than regular scooters while the sides remind you of a moped especially its fuel tank arrangement and radiator placement. The graphics and fairings are modern and in-line with the latest fashion though.

The seat is placed at 765 mm, which is certainly a boon for short-height riders. Under the seat, there is considerable space for storing your routine essentials. Additionally, it comes with a USB charging slot as standard that’ll aid you in imparting life to your dying smartphone. Overall, it measures 1960 mm long, 675 mm wide and 980 mm high.

Powering the all-new Satria F150 is a 147.3 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 18.5 PS of max power at 10,000rpm and 13.8 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm. The mill comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox that transfers power to the wheels in the smoothest manner possible. The secret to its enhanced performance is the weight. It tips the scales at 115kg with fuel. It is also referred to as a more powerful two-wheeler than Yamaha R15 in respect to the power to weight ratio.

The Satria F150 gets a telescopic suspension at the front that makes handling a little easier. The 17-inch wheels are shod with 70/90-17 and 80/90-17 section rubber at the front and rear respectively. Braking on the scooter has been taken care of by the petal disc brakes at both ends.

Considering everyone has different taste and preferences, the all-new Satria F150 is offered with six colour choices, including Titan Black, Triton Blue, Brilliant White, Stronger Red, Matte Titan Black and Solid Black with Red highlights.
