KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s electric scooter market has just welcomed a new player, the QJMotor E-LTR. Yes, after offering a striking range of ICE-powered motorcycles and scooters, the Chinese automaker has launched its first-ever electric two-wheeler in Malaysia, highlighting its commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.

Price
The E-LTR is affordably priced at RM 6,999 (excluding registration and insurance) in Malaysia, allowing buyers to easily opt for an eco-friendly ride and save on fuel costs. Notably, the scooter is also eligible for the MARiiCas rebate program, allowing customers to save RM 2,400 on its purchase price.
Dimensions
Dimension-wise, the QJMotor electric scooter measures 1890 mm in length x 710 mm in width and 1,100 mm in height and spans a wheelbase of 1,310 mm. With a ground clearance of 145 mm, the seat height is measured at 760 mm. The EV weighs 85 kg without the battery pack and rides on 12-inch multi-spoke cast alloy wheels.

In terms of design, the QJMotor EV boasts a classic silhouette with hexagon-shaped headlight and a U-shaped tail light with circular elements. Adding to the style is a bronze-finished ‘tie’ at the front, two-tone brown leather seat saddle, and sleek silver grab rail.

The motor is tied up with a 74V27Ah lithium-ion battery, offering a decent range of 105 km on a single charge. The battery takes 5-6 hours for 30% to 80% charging.
Suspension and braking
The suspension setup comprises a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, which are adjustable for spring preload. Handling the braking duties are hydraulic discs paired with a Combined Braking System.
The QJMotor E-LTR is now available at all authorised MForce Bike Holdings dealerships across the country. Each purchase is accompanied by a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty, with spare parts available through MForce Bike Holdings’ online portal.
