Triumph Trident 800 and Street Triple 765 RX launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Didi Group, the official distributor of Triumph bikes in Malaysia, has launched the all-new Trident 800 and Street Triple 765 RX in the country. The Trident 800 is a dynamic middleweight roadster built for exhilarating everyday performance, while the Street Triple 765 RX is a track-focused model, evolved for greater exclusivity and capability.

2026 Triumph Trident 800: Key highlights

• As the big brother to the Trident 660, the latest model boasts a dynamic urban attitude, bringing a bold new edge to the brand’s roadster lineup.
• The bike has a lean, modern silhouette with a sculpted tank and trim tail. Amplifying its dynamic presence are brushed aluminium accents, bold colour schemes, and contrasting gold-coloured wheels.

• At the core lies a 798-cc liquid-cooled, 3 cylinders, DOHC engine, generating a maximum power of 115 PS at 10,750 rpm and a peak torque of 84 Nm at 8,500 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with the Triumph Shift Assist system.
• Built on a lightweight chassis, the Trident 800 runs on 17-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels wrapped with 120/70 front and 180/55 Michelin tyres. 
• The suspension setup comprises adjustable Showa 41mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable Showa rear monoshock. Braking is done by twin 310 mm floating discs with 4-piston radial callipers at the front and a single 220 mm fixed disc with a single piston sliding calliper at the rear, complemented by an anti-lock braking system.

• It is loaded with several rider-focused tech, including three riding modes, lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS, Optimised Cornering Traction Control, My Triumph Bluetooth connectivity, Cruise control, and a TFT instrument cluster.
• Priced at RM 53,900 (excluding registration and insurance), the Triumph Trident 800 is available in Ash Grey (with Diablo Red detailing), Carnival Red (with Graphite accents), and Jet Black shades.

2026 Triumph Street Triple 765 RX: Key highlights

• The Street Triple 765 RX is a track-focused version of the Street Triple RS, featuring an exclusive, striking style and race-inspired enhancements, setting new benchmarks for performance, exclusivity, and track-focused capability.
• The exclusive design details include a precision-machined upper yoke, a laser-etched RX logo on the silencer, and a bespoke RX-branded seat. 
• With a 5-inch full colour TFT instrument cluster, it features sport clip-on handlebars for a more aggressive, race-focused riding position.

• Adding to its dynamic, track-inspired aesthetic is a striking Matt Aluminium Silver finish combined with a bold Diablo Red rear subframe and matching wheels.
• It is powered by a 765-cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder engine that kicks out 130 PS at 12,000 rpm and 80 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
• Based on an aluminium twin-spar frame with a two-piece rear subframe, the Street Triple 765 RX comes with 17-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels wrapped with 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres. 
• The bike comes equipped with fully-adjustable Ohlins NIX30 front suspension and Ohlins STX40 rear monoshock. Handling the braking duties are twin 310 mm front discs with Brembo Stylema 4-piston callipers and a 220 mm rear disc with Brembo single-piston callipers. 
• The 2026 Triumph Street Triple 765 RX is priced at RM 81,800 (excluding registration and insurance).

Notably, the Triumph Street Triple 765 RX is a limited-run special edition available for only one year.

Alongside the launch of new models, Triumph Motorcycles introduced Triumph Performance Lubricants to Malaysia, developed with FUCHS and manufactured by FUCHS Silkolene.
