Vespa Primavera, GTS 300 and Sprint launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: A few days ago, we reported that Naza Premira is now the prime distributor for Harley and few other brands. Seems like immediately after their appointment, Naza has started launching new products. It was just last month that Vespa Malaysia introduced the Sei Giorni, Vespa 946 (red), and the Sprint Carbon. The Vespa Primavera, the GTS 300 Super Sport, and the Sprint have now been launched in Malaysia. The prices of the Vespa Primavera 150 start from RM 15,600 while the Vespa Sprint 150 is priced at RM 16,400. The range-topping Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport is for RM28,000. Bookings have already started while deliveries will happen within a few weeks.

Vespa Primavera 150

For the model year 2018, the new Vespa Primavera 150 gets chrome on the front mudguard as well as a tie-like chromed shape on the apron. The new 12-inch five-spoke aluminium alloy wheels add to the bling factor. One can order the scooter in three colours - Nero Vulcano, Beige Metallic, and Monto Bianco. One will also get genuine Vespa accessories to go along. The company has also added LED lights all around. There are no changes to the engine. The Primavera still runs a 12.7 PS and 12.8 Nm 150 cc engine mated to a variomatic transmission.

Vespa Sprint 150

There are four more colour options for the Sprint apart from the ones offered on the Primavera. These include Blue Matte as well as Rosso Dragon dan Grigio Titantio. From the images, it is clear that the Sprint 150 seems more premium and has a different styling than the Primavera. A huge Vespa-logoed windshield, Sport graphics, two-tone alloy wheels, front as well as rear mudguards, and a luggage carrier are offered with the Vespa Sprint 150. The scooter runs the same engine as the Primavera and in the same state of tune.

Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport

With this model, one gets a 273 cc Quasar engine that produces 21 PS and 22 Nm. Vespa also offers traction control as well as dual channel ABS on the GTS 300 Super Sport. This one should be a hoot to ride. There are only two colours options - Grigio Titantio and Matte Red. Vespa has also refreshed the model with new graphics as well as stickers. Like its siblings, this one too can be customised using genuine Vespa accessories.
