A parallel-twin naked bike
The engine of the KTM Duke 790 has a high-revving, lively character, but compared to rivals its low-end feel thinner. The mid-range is very strong, though at low speeds fueling can lead to some stumbling. The transmission works well but when shifting from fifth to sixth care is needed to avoid a false neutral. The KTM Duke 790 struggles with slow speeds and prefers higher revs due to jerky fueling. However, it offers a thrilling ride once you open it up. The non-adjustable suspension is a bit of a letdown.
