KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Yamaha Motor has officially launched the all-new Tracer 9 GT in the Malaysian market. The upgraded motorcycle offers strong sportbike performance, advanced electronics, and rider comfort features, making it a compelling choice for riders who enjoy spirited riding as well as everyday touring.

Price
The 2026 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT is priced at RM 71,888 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration). Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.
Engine and transmission
The sport-touring bike is powered by a 890-cc fuel-injected three-cylinder four-stroke engine, producing a maximum power of 119 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 93 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed constant mesh transmission.
Dimensions
The Tracer 9 GT measures 2,157 mm in length, 900 mm in width and 1,440 mm to 1,530 mm in height and spans a wheelbase of 1,500 mm. The minimum ground clearance is estimated at 135 mm.

Suspension & braking
Built on a diamond frame chassis, the bike is equipped with a 41 mm diameter upside-down fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The braking setup comprises dual 298 mm front discs and a single 267 mm rear disc.
Colours
Two colour options available for the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT - Ceramic Ice and Tech Black.
