Ducati launches 2019 Panigale V4 R in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Ducati Malaysia has finally introduced the all-new 2019 Panigale V4 R at a whopping price tag of RM 299,000 (excluding registration, road tax, and insurance). Also, we have a strong feeling that most of the 2019 Panigale V4 Rs would become race track weapons or garage queens.

The Ducati Panigale V4 R is different from the base Panigale V4. How? If you ask, the former is powered by a Stradale V-4 mill that comes with a displacement of 998cc against the laters 1,103 cc. The engine downsizing (that’s done due to the racing rules) does not restrict the V4 R from producing impressive output, i.e., maximum power of 221 hp at 15,250 rpm along with a peak torque of 112 Nm at 11,500 rpm.

For a racing bike of this calibre, the company has fitted the 2019 Panigale V4 R with some of its best components. Like at the front is the Brembo Monobloc Stylema M4.30 callipers that are complemented by Bosch Cornering ABS EVO. The suspension setup is top-class too with fully-adjustable front Ohlins NPX titanium nitrided fork and Ohlins TTX36 monoshock.

The Aero Pack body kit includes Marchesini aluminium alloy wheels, TFT-LCD color screen, carbon-fibre wings, GPS module, lap timer, and data analyser.
