Four new KTM 390 bikes launched in Malaysia - Enduro R, SMC R, Adventure R, Adventure X

KUALA LUMPUR: KTM has made a strong comeback to the Malaysian two-wheeler market with the launch of four new 390 models across the dual-sport, supermoto, and adventure categories. The latest KTM 390 lineup includes - Enduro R, SMC R, Adventure R, Adventure X. The prices are as follows -

2026 KTM 390 Enduro R

The KTM 390 Enduro R is a lightweight dual-sport motorcycle featuring a rally-inspired bodywork with minimalist off-road styling and high ground clearance. Equipped with heavy-duty 21-inch/18-inch spoked wheels, the bike offers exceptional manoeuvrability on both city streets and tough terrains. 

Powering this road-legal machine is a 399-cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 45 PS and a peak torque of 39 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a chain-final drive system.

Other key highlights include - TFT display, ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, long-travel fully adjustable WP Apex suspension, front and rear disc brakes, switchable dual-channel ABS, and off-road ABS mode.

2026 KTM 390 SMC R

The KTM 390 SMC R is a supermoto motorcycle featuring compact and sport styling with an upright riding position and a tall seat height. Based on a lightweight chassis, the bike rides on 17-inch wheels and offers road-focused dynamics.

At the core lies the same 399-cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Handling the suspension duties is an adjustable WP Apex setup, disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS and Supermoto ABS mode.  Other key features include a 4.2-inch TFT display, two dedicated Riding Modes (Street and Sport), traction control, and a ride-by-wire system.

2026 KTM 390 Adventure X

The KTM 390 Adventure X is an entry-level adventure touring motorcycle, offering more road-oriented setup, beginner-friendly driving dynamics, and touring comfort. With adventure-inspired styling, the bike features comfortable upright ergonomics, a tall windscreen, and a muscular fuel tank. 

The Adventure X runs on the same 399cc drivetrain and carries a WP Apex suspension setup, tuned more towards daily usability and road comfort. Other key highlights include 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, TFT display, ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, disc brakes, and dual-channel ABS. 

2026 KTM 390 Adventure R

The KTM 390 Adventure R is an adventure touring motorcycle that features Dakar-style adventure styling with tall suspension, aggressive bodywork, a rally-style windshield, and upright ergonomics. It comes equipped with an off-road-focused setup, a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, advanced rider-assistance electronics, and a fully adjustable WP Apex suspension with longer travel.

The mechanical setup remains the same as the Enduro R and SMC R models. As for braking, it gets front and rear disc brakes with cornering ABS and selectable off-road ABS mode. 

All in all, the new KTM 390 series reinforces the brand’s clear focus on delivering lightweight performance with real-world versatility.
