The 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine can churn out a laudable maximum power of 225 kW at 6500 rpm with a max torque of 370 Nm between 3500rpm to 5250rpm whereas the huge 5.4 litre V8 petrol engine can deliver a maximum power of 386 kW between 5250 to 5750 rpm along with a rumbling peak torque of 700 Nm between 1750 to 5000 rpm that symbolizes its off road capabilities. This massive V8 can reach a top speed of electronically limited 250 kmph that is a benchmark for an SUV. The optimized direct injection system and the advanced turbochargers work in harmony with a highly refined combustion process which reduces fuel consumption and also curbs exhaust emission. The mileage across both the petrol engines ranges from 8.4 kmpl to 11.7 kmpl.

Exteriors:

Mercedes Benz M Class has kept alive the basic tradition of the company and the German automakers have provided the car with dynamic exterior body. The elegant headlights, the sturdy rear and the curvy side profile gives the car an urbane look. The waist lines rising from the rear accentuated by the character line in the rear door adds a touch of sophistication. The car comes equipped with a various range of alloy wheels starting from 17-inch to 21-inch as per your choice. The dimensions of the SUV are 4804 mm x 1926 mm x 1796 mm (L x W x H) that makes for a high ground clearance and stable dimensions along with the wheelbase of the car measuring 2915 mm making provisions for ample cabin space and legroom.

Interiors:

Just like its exterior, M Class has been bestowed with graceful interiors. High quality has been ensured in every small detail of the car. The interiors are defined by exceptional ergonomics which are accentuated with a well finished instrument panel and a spacious cabin which enhances comfort. The seats are available in various high quality upholsteries ranging from black DINAMICA microfibre to sumptuous nappa leather. Besides that, the car has been equipped with several multimedia and audio features, the most notable of them being the advanced Comand Online Multimedia System equipped with 7-inch color TFT display which provides an interface for audio and navigation controls. The rear seat entertainment also has two big 8-inch screens. The boot space provided is impressive and measures 690 litres which can further be enhanced to a staggering 2010 litres along with the 60:40 split arrangement.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous:

When it comes to handling, M Class is possibly one of the most easy to handle SUVs that one can ever drive. Verdict:

The car offers you everything that you will expect form a high performance luxurious SUV. However the low fuel economy could have been better.
