Zero wind protection, exhausting to ride

A 180-mile ride through torrential rain on my Kawasaki Ninja 500 SE proved to be a turning point, but not in a good way. There is no wind protection on this naked bike, and this has left me completely exposed to the elements. I was soaked through with rain and battered by the wind despite wearing decent gear. What seemed to be thrilling and raw at first sight felt very exhausting. The entire experience made me question the practicality and idea of owning a naked bike, especially for all-weather or long-distance riding.
