Enjoyable to go scratching on B-roads

I recently took the Royal Enfield Bear 650 on a weekend excursion that turned into the most satisfying ride of my life. After riding this bike on smooth tarmac for around two hours, I experienced a detour leading to a loose gravel road for around 25 kilometers. I was not confident at first as it was not a full-on adventure motorcycle, but the compliant suspension and upright ergonomics gave me immense confidence. What surprised me was how effortlessly this motorcycle floated over the potholes and small rocks without transmitting much jarring to my wrists.
