Participate in Proton design contest, win cash rewards and more

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton recently announced the Design For Speed contest, wherein designers are invited to submit racing livery for the Proton R3 2019 Saga.

If you consider yourself good enough to dress up the 2019 Saga race car, then it sure is a great chance. The winning racing livery will feature on the race car that is scheduled to take part in the Sepang 1000 km race on 23rd November 2019.

The said Proton design contest runs from 26th August to 22nd September and here’s what all you need to do to participate -

• Download all the required guideline and artwork template from the carmaker’s website
• Design a livery for the Proton R3 2019 Saga race car. Make sure to follow all the instructions and guidelines provided by the automaker
• Participants can submit more than one entry in the contest
• Completed design entries can be submitted through e-mail at r3motorsports@proton.com
• Participants can send the livery design as PDF, JPEG, or PNG file format attachment with a max file size of 25 MB. The designs can also be sent via WeTransfer and Google Drive download link
• All entries must include essential details like participants full name, IC number, e-mail address, and valid contact number
• A short explanatory note about the livery design must follow
• Upon the submission of the design, participants will receive an acknowledgement e-mail from Proton within two working days

The winning entry will not only get a chance to dress up the race car, but contestants will also receive cash rewards. While the second and third position entries will receive RM 2,000 and RM 1,000 cash rewards respectively, the winner will receive the grand prize of RM 3,000.

Wait that is not all. The top three entries will get VIP passes to the S1K event, and it’s at this event where they will be handed over the cash rewards.
