KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Kawasaki bikes in Malaysia, has launched the highly anticipated Ninja ZX-25RR. Touted as the new contender for the 250cc crown, the latest super-sport model is a shining example of the performance offered by Ninja ZX machines.

    • Fully-adjustable rear mono-shock: At the rear end, the bike is kitted with a fully adjustable rear mono-shock, featuring a Horizontal Back-link design and a gas-charged shock with spring preload adjustability
    • Disc brakes: The bike's braking system comprises dual semi-floating 310 mm discs with radial-mount, monobloc, opposed 4-piston callipers at the front, and a single 220 mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear. These are complemented by an anti-lock braking system.

    The Ninja ZX-25RR underpins a high-tensile steel Trellis frame for strength and stability. With an overall height of 1,110 mm, length of 1,980 mm, and width of 750 mm, it offers a sleek appearance and accommodates riders of different sizes. The seat height is set at 785 mm for rider comfort, complemented by wheel sizes of 110/70 at the front and 150/60 at the rear.

    Weighing 184 kg, the bike features a fuel tank with a capacity of 15 litres, ensuring sufficient range for long rides.
