Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R SE and ZX-4RR up for grabs in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: MODENAS, a member of the DRB HICOM Group, has launched two new Kawasaki bikes in Malaysia - the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR and ZX-4R SE. These two supersport middleweight bikes mark a significant expansion in the Kawasaki Ninja range, offering a high-revving, race-inspired riding experience to Malaysians.

Sharing the same core mechanical platform, both models are powered by a 399-cc DOHC inline-four engine, which delivers a maximum power of 77 PS at 14,500 rpm (up to 80 PS with Ram-Air effect) and a peak torque of 39 Nm at 13,000 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch system.
Design and features
Both Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R SE and ZX-4RR boast the brand’s signature Ninja styling with aggressive aerodynamic bodywork and race-inspired cues. The Ninja ZX-4R SE has sporty, road-focused character while the ZX-4RR exudes a sharper, track-oriented intent. Colour choices are as follows -
