KUALA LUMPUR: Suzuki Malaysia has introduced the all-new SV-7 GX at the 2026 Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show, taking place at MITEC from June 12 to 21. Designed for city commutes, twisty roads, and long weekend rides, this middleweight touring motorcycle is set to launch in Malaysia soon.

Design and features
Inspired by the legendary SV650, the SV-7 GX combines the sharp agility of a sports motorcycle with the upright comfort and confidence of an adventure tourer. It features a bold, refined silhouette with a sharp half-cowl, premium finishes, sculpted side panels and slim trellis frame.

The bike is powered by a Euro 5+ compliant 645 cc 90-degree V-twin engine that generates a maximum power of 73 PS at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 64 Nm at 6,800 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox and a chain final drive system.
The Suzuki SV-7 GX comes equipped with an advanced suite of rider-assisted technologies called the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System. It offers three selectable riding modes to tailor the bike’s character as per the road conditions -

Suspension and braking
The suspension setup comprises 41 mm diameter telescopic front forks with 125 mm of travel and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock with 129 mm of travel. Handling the braking duties is a single 240 mm diameter front disc with a Tokico four-piston calliper and a single rear disc with a single-piston calliper, complemented by a two-channel ABS.
