Price
The 2025 Honda CRF250 Rally is priced at RM 28,599 (on the road, without insurance). Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 manufacturing warranty, whichever comes first.
Engine and transmission
Powering the new CRF250 Rally is a tried and tested 249-cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine, which churns out a maximum power of 24 PS at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 23 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and a slip and assist clutch system that eases upshifts and manages rear wheel hop under hard braking and rapid downshifts.
Design and features
Sprayed in Extreme Red shade, the new CRF250 Rally features a bold multi-tone bodywork with rally-style graphics flowing across the sides. It also gets a new navy-blue seat that captures the true dirt bike spirit.
The bike features a floating windscreen, which enhances the bike's aerodynamic profile and also protects riders from wind and debris. Another key highlight is twin-lens LED headlights, offering excellent visibility in the dark. The LCD instrument panel incorporates a gear position indicator and a fuel consumption metre.
Other key highlights include a lightweight swing arm and a 12.8-litre fuel tank, offering ample range for long off-road adventures. The bike runs on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, shod with 80/100 and 120/80 tyres, respectively.
Suspension and braking
Based on a steel semi-double cradle frame, the bike has a robust suspension setup comprising Showa 43 mm diameter upside-down forks at the front and Showa monoshock at the rear.
The braking duties are handled by a 296 mm floating wave disc with a two-piston calliper at the front and a 220 mm hydraulic single disc with a one-piston calliper at the rear. Both are complemented by a two-channel ABS.
The new Honda CRF250 Rally will be available at Honda BigWing dealerships from the end of August onwards.
