Honda X-ADV gets an update in Malaysia, price starts at RM 70,999

KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda, the official distributor of Honda motorcycles in Malaysia, has launched the all-new X-ADV, bringing a sharper visual edge and notable mechanical enhancements to the two-wheeler adventure segment.

Touted as the world's first sustainable adventure scooter, the Honda X-ADV gets a new look featuring bold stripes and solid colour blocks. The available colour options and price are as follows -

Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty against manufacturing defects.

2026 Honda X-ADV: Engine and transmission

Powering Honda’s flagship adventure bike is a 745-cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled Euro 5-compliant engine that generates a maximum power of 7.8 hp at 6,750 rpm and a peak torque of 69 Nm at 4,750 rpm. It is mated to an updated 6-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) gearbox, which provides smooth handling at lower speeds, making it suitable for urban traffic or U-turns. 

2026 Honda X-ADV: Design and features

The X-ADV boasts a sharp and aggressive body design with rugged fairings. It comes equipped with twin LED projectors that have a “hidden eye” design where the surrounding area is darkened to highlight the Daytime Running Lights signature.

The one-hand adjustable windscreen has 3-step adjustments, while the seat features thick urethane foam for improved comfort. Adding to the convenience is a cruise control, a USB-C charging port, and a 22-litre under-seat storage with an improved LED light and a luggage divider that prevents your belongings from moving around when riding. 

Providing all the essential driving-related information to the rider is a 5-inch full-colour TFT screen that has three customizable display patterns. The system supports Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, music, and voice call management via Bluetooth.

• Four riding modes - Standard, Sport, Rain, and Gravel, along with a fifth User mode for custom settings 
• Smart Key System
• Auto-cancelling turn signals 
• Traction control
• Upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear
• Twin 296 mm discs and four-piston callipers at the front
• 240 mm brake disc with single-piston calliper at the rear
• Two-channel ABS

The all-new 2026 X-ADV will be available at all Honda BigWing dealerships nationwide by May 2026.
