What is the range of the Honda WN7 electric bike?
Equipped with a 9.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Honda WN7 provides a driving range of 140 km.When will the Honda WN7 launch?
The production of the Honda WN7 will begin in late 2025, with market introduction expected in early 2026.Let’s dive deeper to know the Honda WN7 in detail.
Naked street bike with a frameless chassis
Designed as a naked street bike in Honda’s “FUN” category, the Honda electric bike features a sharp silhouette with a black body and golden mechanical accents. It has a frameless chassis, unlike the conventional models. The frameless structure features a centrally positioned aluminium battery case acting as the main frame, enhancing mass centralisation and agile handling.

Power equivalent to a 600-cc ICE bike
The Honda WN7 is equipped with a newly developed, compact and lightweight water-cooled motor that delivers a maximum output of 67 hp and peak torque of 100 Nm. While the power is equivalent to a 600-cc ICE motorcycle, the torque can be compared to a 1000 cc class ICE motorcycle. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a newly designed gearbox and a belt-drive system.
140 km driving range, 20% to 80% charge in 30 mins
Feeding the motor is a newly developed 9.3 kWh fixed lithium-ion battery pack, providing a cruising range of 140 km (WMTC mode) on a single charge. It supports both CCS2 fast charging and Type 2 normal charging. With a fast charger, the battery can be replenished from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes, while normal charging takes almost 2.4 hours for a full charge.

The Honda WN7 also features a regenerative braking system, which automatically recovers energy when the rider releases the throttle. The deceleration can be managed with the help of a Declaration Selector positioned on the left handlebar. There is a Walking Speed mode for parking and tight spaces, which enables you to move the EV forward or backwards slowly with the help of a switch.

Parts of the bike’s feature kit are - LED lights, a 5-inch full-colour TFT central console, and integrated RoadSync connectivity.
The production of the Honda WN7 will be carried out at Honda’s Kumamoto Factory. It will be gradually launched in global markets that are moving faster towards electrification.
