Honda Gold Wing to get a new navigation system

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda’s latest patent confirms the soon arrival of a new navigation system that would benefit the Gold Wing and provide better convenience to the rider.

The new navigation system apart from featuring typical navigation information will also provide the rider with a safer route and weather conditions. An accurate result is assured by the system as it collects data from other Honda vehicles including cars.

Adding to the rider’s convenience is the system's rerouting ability which keeps the rider ahead of the oncoming bad weather.

Wait, there’s more as Honda plans to connect the motorcycle’s electronics to the new navigation system. That allows the rider to adjust the motorcycle’s electronic windscreen and heated grip automatically as per the weather conditions.

Honda’s new and advanced navigation system is currently in the early stage of development and it would be a while before we’ll be able to see it in a production version bike.
