All-new Honda XL750 Transalp coming to Malaysia!

KUALA LUMPUR: It has just been a few days since the start of the new year and the Malaysian motorcycle market is seeing an influx of new and updated models. For instance, we got the 2023 BMW Motorrad K1600B, the updated Honda Wave Alpha, and the 2023 Honda ADV160. And many more are lined up to enter the market in the coming months, the list includes the BMW Motorrad CE 04 e-scooter and the Honda XL750.

We have already discussed the former in detail here, and today we’ll be talking about the upcoming 2023 Honda XL750 Transalp.

During the recent launch of the all-new Honda ADV160, Boon Siew Honda confirmed the soon arrival of the 2023 Honda XL750 Transalp. Though the automaker is yet to reveal the actual launch date, we expect the new middleweight adventure bike to launch in early 2024.

The new XL750 Transalp is powered by an all-new parallel-twin engine generating a maximum power output of 90 hp along with a peak torque of 75 Nm. Thus, placing the Transalp in between the Tenere (74 hp) and 890 Adventure (105 hp).

Other key inclusions -

• A 270-degree crank
• A new airbox offering a low-end beat & top-end howl
• Optimally tuned ride-by-wire system for bike’s off-road and touring ability
• Four riding modes: Sport, User, Standard, Rain, and Gravel; selected via a left-hand switch cube
