To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this legend, Honda has introduced new design updates and advanced technology for 2025 along with a special 50th Anniversary edition model.
2025 Honda Gold Wing 50th Anniversary edition
This special model honours the history of the flagship tourer and features the following exclusive bits -

New colours
The 50th Anniversary version comes in two striking colour schemes -
- Eternal Gold paired with Mahogany Brown Metallic, inspired by the 1988 GL1500
- Bordeaux Red Metallic featuring bold and gold graphics and gold detailings
Special badges
Further setting it apart from the standard model are special badgings. The centre console and Smart Key of the bike feature a Gold Wing emblem with 50th Anniversary and ‘since 1975’ detailing.

3D chrome emblem
We can also find a shiny 3D dual-tone chrome emblem on the bike, which combines a lion’s head with the majestic wings of an eagle, symbolising power and elegance.
Updated digital dash
Adding more drama to this exclusive Honda Gold Wing is a comprehensive digital dash that comes with a new display featuring unique start-up animation.

2025 Honda GL1800 Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour
All 2025 models, including the Honda GL1800 Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour, benefit from technology and performance upgrades -
- New, improved audio system speakers for better quality sound at all speeds
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for hassle-free smartphone integration
- New O2 sensor and updates ECU’s settings in the engine, ensuring Euro 5+ compliance

The Euro 5+ compliant 1,833cc six-cylinder engine generates the same level of output as before, which is 124.7 bhp. All the latest versions of the bike also feature 4 riding modes - Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain, each with a different throttle mapping configuration, combining Honda Selectable Torque Control and anti-lock braking system.

Also part of the kit is a cruise control, hill start assist, a seven-inch TFT screen, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and heated grips. With the Tour models also come a heated seat and an optional Home Link System.
2025 Honda Gold Wing Collector’s Edition

To further mark this important anniversary, Honda also rolled out a limited-edition half-and-half-scale replica of the bike. This premium collectible measures 11 inches in width and 6 inches in height and features the bike’s original design on one side and the current model on the other.
