Honda Indonesia lineup gets the all-new Forza scooter

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only last year that Honda released the new Forza 350 in Thailand and now the company has brought the new Forza 250 to Indonesia. Seems like Malaysia is missing out on new scooters, however, we expect Boon Siew Honda to bring it to the local market someday.

Let us get to know the all-new Forza scooter in detail -

Design

By the looks of it, the Forza 250 seems identical in shape and size to the Forza 350 with only a few mechanical changes.

Powertrain

While the 350 version is powered by a 329 cc single-cylinder engine putting out 28.8 hp at 7,500 rpm with 31.5 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm, the Forza 250 gets the same single-cylinder eSP+ engine, but with a revised displacement of 249 cc. The unit generates a max power of 22.8 hp at 7.750 rpm and a peak torque of 24 Nm at 6,250 rpm.

Features

This new 186 kg Honda scooter packs several modern features which makes it an urban cool vehicle. Part of the setup is -

• LED lighting throughout
• Combined analogue and digital instrument panels
• 15-inch wheel at the front and 14-inch at the back
• An adjustable windshield
• USB charging port
• Keyless start
• Large storage compartment with enough space for two full-face helmets

Safety is taken care of by ABS and traction control which are offered as standard.

We hope the 250 version of the new Forza soon arrives in the local market as well.
