Honda Malaysia launches a new sports scooter, the 2021 Forza 250

KUALA LUMPUR: The all-new Forza sports scooter is now a part of Honda Malaysia lineup. Prior to its local introduction by Boon Siew Honda, the new Forza made its debut in the Indonesian market in February. Coming back to the Malaysian-spec Forza 250, it looks stylish, features a strong built, stylish layout, and is targeted at young riders.

In the local lineup, the 2021 Forza 250 has come as a replacement for the Forza 300 and will compete directly with the Yamaha XMax 250. Priced at RM 25,388 (excluding insurance, road tax, and registration), the new Forza 250 is offered in three striking hues - Candy Rosy Red, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Pearl Horizon White. Included in the price is a 2-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

As can be seen in the images, the 2021 Forza 250 carries an aggressive exterior profile, blessed with edgy bodywork and full LED lighting. Besides, it offers a premium riding position and an ultra-comfortable ride. All thanks to a few inclusions like an electrically adjustable windscreen with a 180 mm up & down range. It provides protection against wind and also reduces wind noise and can be operated via a switch on the left handlebar.

Powering the all-new Forza 250 is a 250 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled SOHC eS+ mill with Honda’s PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system. It pumps out a maximum power of 21.7 hp at 7,750 rpm and a peak torque of 22.6 Nm at 6,250 rpm. This fuel-efficient eSP+ mill is coupled to a CVT unit.

Telescopic front forks and a unit swing set up at the rear take care of the suspension, while braking duties are performed by hydraulic disc brakes at both ends. Two-channel ABS is a part of the setup.
