Malaysia gets the new Honda RS-X Repsol Edition; limited to 5,000 units

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Honda bikes in Malaysia, Boon Siew Honda, recently introduced the 2024 Honda RS-X Repsol Edition. This special edition moped is available in a limited quantity of 5,000 units at a price of RM 9,998 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration).

    The special edition model also runs on the same tried and tested 150-cc DOHC 6-Speed EURO 4 compliant engine, which is tuned to generate a maximum power of 15.8 hp at 9,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 13.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The power is sent to wheels via a six-speed transmission and chain final drive system. The fuel tank capacity is measured at 4.5 litres.

    As for the suspension, the underbone motorbike carries conventional telescopic forks on the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock on the rear. The braking duties are handled by dual disc brakes on both ends, however, the front wheel also features a single-channel ABS for better riding control and confidence. 

    On the purchase of the special edition Honda RS-X, Boon Siew Honda offers a 2-year/20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.
