WMoto Griffin 205 launched in Malaysia at RM 8,888

KUALA LUMPUR: Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has expanded the WMoto lineup in Malaysia, with the launch of a new 200-cc maxi-scooter, the Griffin 205. The latest urban commuter offers modern styling, practical features, and comprehensive safety equipment, all wrapped in an affordable package.

Designed as a practical touring scooter, the WMoto Griffin 205 is priced at RM 8,888 (excluding road tax, insurance, or registration). Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

WMoto Griffin 205: Engine and transmission

At the core of the new WMoto scooter lies a 198-cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, four-valve engine that churns out a maximum power of 19.4 hp at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 17.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a continuously variable transmission mated to a belt final drive system.
