Yamaha Malaysia introduces new colours for TMax Tech Max

KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Yamaha Motor added the TMax Tech Max to its premium model lineup back in 2021. This luxurious Yamaha machine now benefits from two new colour options - Dark Magma and Tech Black, which are available at all authorised Yamaha Big Bike Dealers nationwide at the same old price tag reading RM 74,998 (excluding registration charges, road tax, and insurance).

The 2024 Yamaha TMax Tech Max continues to get power from the tried and tested 560 cc two-cylinder DOHC engine tuned to generate a maximum power of 47.6 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 55.7 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via automatic transmission and belt drive. 

With distinctive styling and luxurious comfort, the scooter provides the rider with a unique city ride experience. It comes equipped with several enhanced technologies to complement its advanced features. These include - 

• 7-inch TFT-LCD screen with three display modes
• Smartphone connectivity and Garmin maps connectivity
• Cruise control
• 2-level D-Mode
• Traction control system
• Keyless start with Smartkey remote
• Remote opening for fuel cap and seat
• Heated seat & grips
• Electronically adjustable windscreen

Among the key design highlights are - bold-looking combination mono-focus LED headlamps, aerodynamic front wings, and boomerang motif LED tail lights.

The TMax Tech Max underpins a lightweight chassis made of a die-cast aluminium twin-spar frame. It comes with an optimised rigidity balance and offers smoother navigation to the rider. The suspension duties are managed by a telescopic fork at the front and a Swingarm link-type system at the rear. As for the braking, there are disc brakes complemented by a dual-channel ABS.

Each purchase of the 2024 Yamaha TMax Tech Max is accompanied by a free disc lock worth RM 100 and a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.
